Marguerite Y. (Souliere) Girard

Marguerite Yvette (Souliere) Girard, 76, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Margaret (as she was known) was born on August 9, 1948, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband, Bertrand (Bert) Girard, who passed away August 21, 2017. She is survived by five stepchildren. Additionally, she is survived by eleven of her siblings: Raymond Souliere and his wife Pauline; Theresa Hebert; Suzanne Otis and her husband John; Roger Souliere; Robert Souliere; Russell Souliere and his wife Mari Ann; Carmel Therien and her husband Edward; Joyce Lafond and her husband Michael; Reginald Souliere; Richard Souliere and his wife Debra; and Roland Souliere and his wife Margaret. She also is survived by 26 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gloria and Joseph (Reyle) Souliere; her sister Pamela Souliere; and her sister Yvette Manning.

In 1982, Bert and Margaret established B&M Printing in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Together, passionately, they built a strong foundation of providing exceptional customer service in printing, graphic design and copying services over an expanse of 23 years. In 2005, Bert and Margaret retired. Their legacy continues today and is still thriving as a family owned and operated small business.

Those who touch our lives stay in our hearts forever. We begin to remember not just that she died, but that she lived, and her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
