Marie Anne (Turcotte) Bonin

Marie Anne (Turcotte) Bonin, 81, of Woonsocket, passed away July 15, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of of the late Lucien W. Bonin. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Annette (Durand) Turcotte.

Marie worked as a secretary for the Woonsocket Education Department for 45 years, and then for TriHab for ten years before retiring. She was a former communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Woonsocket.

She is survived by her children, Lisa A. Bonin, of North Smithfield, Alan W. Bonin, and his wife Kristine, of Danielson, CT, and Ronald L. Bonin, and his wife Nain Pena, of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Julija Parker, Shane, Ashley, and Dylan Bonin. She was the sister of the late Rose Marie Lemire.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 9:30 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville, RI. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 - 7.
