Marie Nadeau Obituary

Marie M. Nadeau, 82, of Woonsocket, died October 31, 2023 at home. She was the wife of Richard Nadeau. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Wilhelmina (Bosma) Mineau.

Marie enjoyed spending time with family and keeping home clean and organized. She enjoyed staying current with politics and happenings both globally and locally, and sharing with neighbors. Local radio talk shows were heard during her day. She also enjoyed a bi-weekly grocery trip. Marie truly enjoyed celebrating Jesus' birthday and our family joined in song to wish him Happy Birthday every Christmas. Our family has many memories of her prepared Sunday dinners and her generosity to family and friends. She devoted her love and time to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Marie also loved her yellow Labrador Tona and kept their memory alive through statues, calendars, cups, and photos.

Along with her husband Richard, she is survived by her children; Brian Nadeau and his wife Cheryl, of Wrentham, MA, Sandra Lemoine and her husband Michael, of Burrillville, Sharon Pacheco and her husband Tony, of Bristol, and Bruce Nadeau, of Woonsocket; five grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsey Lemoine, Tony, Jr. and Tyler Pacheco, Ann Nadeau, and Jennifer Cole; and two great-granchildren, Izkiel Davis and Dalton Pacheco. She was the sister of the late William and Lawrence "Butch" Mineau, and the late Theresa Methot.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 or at pancan.org
