Marion F. (Tarvis) Lowe

Marion F. (Tarvis) Lowe, 85, of Forestdale, passed away September 30, 2025 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of Robert Lowe for almost 57 years. Born in Forestdale, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jeanne (Beaudet) Tarvis.

Mrs. Lowe worked for the office of Dr. Marcellot for over 25 years, working as a medical secretary and taking x-rays, before her retirement. Marion was a lifelong resident of Forestdale and a proud member of the North Smithfield Holy Ghost Society. She enjoyed traveling to Aruba with her husband and friends for nearly three decades. Anyone who knew Marion understood her passion for playing BINGO and her dedication to using her winnings to play more BINGO.

Along with her husband, Robert, she is survived their daughter, Karyn Lowe of Forestdale; her sister Doris Armes, of Cincinnati, OH; and two grandchildren, Madison and Kaitlyn Archambault. She was the sister of the late J. Frank "Sonny" Tarvis.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Antoine's Special Care Unit for the loving care, compassion, and support they provided to Marion for the past few years. They had the uncanny ability to make Marion laugh and always appreciated her dance moves and laughter she provided to them.

Her funeral will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 beginning with visitation at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, 63 Church St., Slatersville. In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Antoine Special Care Unit, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, RI 02896.
