Mark L. Paliy, 61, of North Providence, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Linda (Badeau) Paliy. Born in Weymouth, he was the son of the late Theodore and Betty (Robinson) Paliy.
Mark was an Army Veteran. For many years he has worked as a CNA for The Bridge at Cherry Hill in Johnston. Mark was a quiet soul that would often help many people. He enjoyed watching TV, whether it was western or army movies, or anything on the History channel.
Besides his wife, Linda, he is survived by his two sons, Travis Paliy and his children, Cameron, Braydon, Kenley and Kristen, and Mathew Paliy, and his children, Blake, Trent and Kinsley, all of CT.; three step-sons, Bryan Lavigne, and his daughter Savannah, of MA, Nathan Lavigne of RI, and Donald Garand of ME; and two sisters, Robin Hoppe, her husband Bruce, and their daughter Samantha, of NJ, and Lisa Robinson Paliy of FL.
His funeral will be August 20, 2021 at 11AM in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Rd., Cumberland RI, with military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
