Mavis (Girard) Gaudet

Mavis Gaudet, 87, of Woonsocket, died November 13, 2024 at her home. She was the wife of the late Gerard Gaudet. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Alice (Pepin) Girard.

Mavis worked as an EKG Technician for Landmark Medical Center. She was a longtime member of St. Agatha's Parish in Woonsocket. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her family and creating and selling crafts.

She is survived by her son, Richard Gaudet of Burleson, TX, and daughter, Jeanne Barbrie and her husband, Russell, of Woonsocket; her five grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer; Jeffrey, Russell, and Aaron; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Rita Riel, Rene and Raymond Girard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 10 AM in St. Agatha's Parish, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
