Michael E. Bibeault, 60, of Woonsocket, passed away September 1, 2021 in the HopeHealth - Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by his family after suffering from Frontotemporal Dementia for many years. He was the husband of Celine (Mandeville) Bibeault, to whom he was married 32 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Herve and Anna (Ouelette) Bibeault.
Michael was employed by Lakeside Pools for over 30 years, where he gained a second family and made many great friends, retiring in 2016 due to illness.
He had an incredible passion for boating and fishing. You could always find him on the water with a fishing pole in his hand. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, beach vacations, and hanging out with family and friends.
Besides his wife, Celine, he leaves two daughters, Jenny Mandeville, and her husband, Vinny Orlando of Woonsocket, and Trisha (Bernier) Harriman and her husband, Brad of Peabody, MA; two granddaughters, Eliette and Gwyneth Harriman, who were his world and brought him great joy; his brother, Marc Bibeault and his wife Lori of North Port, FL, his sister, Elaine Bibeault of Pascoag; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Paul, Roger, and David Bibeault.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Rd., Cumberland. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 - 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (www.theaftd.org).
