Michael J. Luchuk

Michael J. Luchuk, 82 of Bellingham died May 31, 2025 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Linda (Pond) Luchuk of Bellingham. Born in Quincy on May 26, 1943. He was the son of late Michael and Stella (Sharawara) Luchuk.

Michael was a veteran of the US Air Force where he proudly served in the crash and rescue operations, dedicating himself to the safety and well-being of his fellow service members.

He was an electrician for the union as well as an auxiliary police officer and firefighter for Blackstone. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening, building rock walls, going to yard sales, and watching NASCAR and Bruins.

Along with his wife he is survived by their children, Elizabeth Luchuk of Bellingham John Luchuk and his wife Joanna Wojick-Luchuk of Blackstone, and Michael Luchuk and his wife Amanda Nadeau of Woonsocket; his five grandchildren Devin, Peyton, Colton, Brady, Kendall and Becky the cat.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on TUESDAY, June 10, 2025 at 10AM in St Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church, 394 Blackstone St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in the Ukrainian-American Cemetery, Center St., Bellingham. Calling hours are SUNDAY, June 8, 2025 from 1-4PM, in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
