Michael R. McIntyre

Michael R. McIntyre, Sr., 70, of Blackstone, died December 29, 2025 in HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice, Providence. He was the husband of Paulette (Mailloux) McIntyre, whom he married October 4, 1975. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Ernest and Madeleine (Lavoie) McIntyre.

Mike worked in the scrap metal business until his retirement in 2021. He loved music, and played guitar. Mike also loved the beach. He volunteered with the Blackstone-Millville Food Pantry for many years. Mike was a hardworking, kind, generous and loving man.

Besides his wife, Paulette, he leaves their daughter, Melissa Jean and her husband, Robert, of North Smithfield; his sister, Jeannine Rogers of Maine; four grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaitlyn, Meghan and Robert; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Michael R. McIntyre, Jr.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2026, beginning with visitation at 4 PM, followed by a service at 6 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
