Muriel A. (Demers) Lareau

Muriel A. (Demers) Lareau, 82, of North Smithfield, died June 21, 2026 in Bayberry Commons. She was the wife of the late Albert Lareau, whom she married April 28, 1962. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Florida (Allard) Demers.

Muriel enjoyed playing cards, BINGO and floral arranging. She spent time at the Woonsocket Senior Center. Muriel especially loved her dog, Lola.

She leaves three children, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Constance Pelletier.

Her funeral will be held Monday, June 29, 2026, beginning with visitation at 10 AM, followed by a service at 11AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
