Nancy P. (Doyle) Bliss

Nancy P. Bliss, 83, of Manville, died May 2, 2025 in The Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. She was the wife of Charles "Bill" Bliss of Smithfield. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Luke and Marjorie (Symes) Doyle.

Along with her husband, Bill, she is survived by their children, Charles Bliss Jr., and his wife Maria of Graham, NC and David Bliss and his wife, Shirley Hoyle, of Woonsocket; her sister, Deborah Finn of Saratoga Springs, NY; and four grandchildren, Mikayla, Emily, Addison and Kaitlyn Bliss. She was predeceased by her daughter, Amy Bliss, and her sister, Kathleen Zito.

Nancy worked as a secretary for CVS. Nancy was an avid quilter and seamstress who loved decorating her homes with her creations. You could often see Nancy out in her garden tending to her beautiful window boxes and her hydrangeas. Nancy also enjoyed playing tennis and figure skating, whether it be for herself or coaching.

Her funeral will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, starting with visitation at 9:30AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, followed by a service at 11AM. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Smithfield Rd., North Smithfield.
