Normand B. Cournoyer

Normand B. Cournoyer, 81, of Norwich, CT, died July 13, 2024 in the Davis Place, Danielson, CT. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Normand L. and Doris (Lamontagne) Cournoyer.

Normand worked as a grinder for Electric Boat, Groton for over twenty-five years. He enjoyed working, tinkering, working in his yard and fixing his cars.

He is survived by his brothers, Gerard and Andy Cournoyer of Woonsocket, Donald Cournoyer of Attleboro and Robert Cournoyer of Westford; his companion, Diane Durand of Coventry; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Emile and Roger Cournoyer.

His funeral will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 starting with a visitation at 9:30AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a service at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 310 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, MA.
