Paul J. Choquette

Paul J. Choquette, 56, of Woonsocket, went to heaven on December 31, 2025. He was the LOVING husband of Carolyn (Donahue) Choquette. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Gilbert (Chuck) and Rita (Allard) Choquette.

Paul worked Facilities at Bally’s Lincoln Casino and was a proud member of Teamster Local 251 since 2006. In his spare time he immensely enjoyed Golfing and also watching NFL football and his favorite team, the Steelers. He was previously a Coach of the Woonsocket High School Football team and loved being part of the football culture and helping young players reach their potential in both their football and life journeys. Most of all, Paul enjoyed spending time with his wife, Carolyn, the absolute love of his life and best friend.

Along with his wife Carolyn, he is survived by his sister, Claire Staelen and her husband Marc; his mother in law, Lo Donahue: sister in law, Lisa Donahue; and his many nieces and nephews, Danielle and Sophie Staelen, Allison and Donnie Romano, Taylor and Aaron Andrews, Noah and Nathan Desplaines,  Liam and Brittney Donahue and his Godson Dana Choquette.  He is also predeceased by John Donahue Jr., his loving father in-law and John Donahue III., his brother-in-law. Other relatives include Jackie Choquette, Michael Choquette and David Choquette.  Paul also leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Luke & Sasha.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 1-3PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bullied Breeds Rescue, PO Box 225, Nutting Lake, MA 01865 or to EGAPL Heart of RI, 44 Worthington Rd, Cranston, RI 02920.
