Paul L. Lizotte

Paul L. Lizotte, Sr., 86, died May 2, 2023 in St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. He was the husband of the late Lucille V. (Salvas) Lizotte, whom he married June 30, 1956. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Leo and Marie (Gendron) Lizotte.

Mr. Lizotte was a plumber pipe fitter, working on nuclear submarines in Groton, CT for twenty-five years, and in his retirement worked as a bus driver. He enjoyed watching old western movies, playing horseshoes, fishing, cooking, and baking. Above all, he loved to be with his family.

He leaves his children, Paul L. Lizotte, Jr. and his wife, Carmen, of Harmony, ME, Robert G. Lizotte and his wife, Debra, of North Smithfield, Denise Branca and her husband, Anthony, of Johnston, Richard M. Lizotte and his wife, Lisa, of Warwick, and Daniel T. Lizotte and his wife, Deidre, of Virginia Beach, VA; ten grandchildren, Paul, III, Reka-Michelle, Timothy, Andrew, Alex, Richard, Jr., Amanda, Kenneth, Jacob, and Patrick; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023, beginning with visitation from 8:30-10:30 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Holy Family Church, 414 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Antoine Residence, Activities Fund, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, RI 02896.
