Paul G. Melanson

Paul G. Melanson, 77, of Pawtucket, died May 26, 2021 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Jeanne (Tetreault) Melanson, whom he married March 6, 1994. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Gildard and Lillian (Souza) Melanson.

A Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Melanson worked as a Department Manager for Carol Cable and later worked as a parts driver for Colonial and Grieco Toyota. He was an excellent gardener and enjoyed watching movies and WWE Wrestling.

Along with his wife, Jeanne, he is survived by two sons, Paul Melanson and his wife, Darlene, of Taunton, and Robert Melanson and his wife, Lindsey, of Seekonk; two daughters, Christine Dorton of Fall River, and Naomi Burdette of Washington; his brother, Ronald Melanson of Rehoboth; five grandchildren; one great grandson, as well as, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was the brother of the late Kenneth and Amedee Melanson.

His funeral will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, beginning with visitation at 3pm, followed by a service at 5pm, in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket or you may view the live service athttps://client.tribucast.com/tcid/1301955171 Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice in Pauls memory.
