Paula Conlon Obituary

Paula M. (d'Entremont) Conlon, 68, of Pascoag, died March 20, 2026, in the HopeHealth Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Dowcett) d'Entremont.

Paula was a proud graduate of The College of the Holy Cross, and carried her Catholic faith with her throughout her life. She earned her master's degree in education from Worcester State College. She was a longtime educator, retiring in 2024 from Grafton Middle School. Paula often shared her school stories with her family and made lasting connections with many of her students and colleagues. She loved her little house near the lake and spent her days with her pets reading and watching the news. She was always happy to talk about, or argue about, politics and current events. She was devoted to her book club and was known for talking through every movie she watched. Paula lived life on her own terms. She loved fiercely, always showed kindness to strangers, and was a champion for the underdog.

She leaves her children, Jacob Conlon of Cherry Hill, NJ, Megan Lafayette of Millville, MA and Martha Conlon of VT; her brother, Richard d'Entremont of Arlington, MA; five grandchildren, Joseph and Thomas Lafayette and Lily, Matthew and Owen Conlon. She was predeceased by her sister, Donna Barnes.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Memorial contributions may be made to Pawfect Life Rescue, 195 Old Millville Road, Uxbridge, MA 01569.
