Paulette J. (Bibeault) Lemieux

Paulette J. (Bibeault) Lemieux, 74, of Woonsocket, died August 9, 2024 in the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of Donald G. Lemieux, Sr., whom she married December 29, 1968. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Lucien Bibeault, Sr. and Muriel (Lavallee) Bibeault.

Mrs. Lemieux was a 1967 graduate of Woonsocket High School. She worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone, and later worked as a molder and quality inspector for Tupperware Corp. Paulette lastly worked for Polytop, retiring in 2011. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish.

While Paulette always loved a sunny day at the beach, she much preferred to spend the day with her husband attending as many of her grandchildren's activities and events as she possibly could regardless of inclement weather, how far she needed to travel, or whatever health challenges she faced, and often was addressed by her grandchildren's friends and teammates as "Memere" or "Mem Lem". Not to be forgotten are her 4 past and 3 current grand-dogs who always knew they were in for a "treat" whenever Paulette arrived.

Besides her husband, Donald, she leaves their children, Lisa Badeau and her husband, Kevin, of Cumberland, Donald Lemieux, Jr. and his wife, Tammy, of Blackstone, MA, and Keith Lemieux of Woonsocket; five grandchildren, Isabel, Olivia, and Nicholas Badeau, and Alexa and Victoria Lemieux; four brothers, Richard Bibeault of Woonsocket, Lucien Bibeault, Jr., and Gerald and Andre Bibeault, all of Cumberland; four sisters, Gisele Frigon of Lincoln, Rachel Bibeault of Woonsocket, Denise Young of St. George, ME, and Monique Benoit of Ft. Myers, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Christina Lemieux.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 10 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
