Pauline C. (Caron) Vermette

Pauline C. (Caron) Vermette, 93, of Burrillville, died April 9, 2023 Bayberry Commons. She was the wife of the late Walter Vermette. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Philias and Fabiola (Drapeau) Caron.

Mrs. Vermette was the co-owner and waitress of Vermette's Restaurant in Woonsocket. She loved to spend time with her family whenever she could.

She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Keegan of Burrillville and her son-in-law, Paul Audette of Thornton, NH; her three grandchildren, Kevin Audette, Kimberly Mosher and Christopher Keegan; her four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Adelyn, Aria and Conner; her sister-in-law, Estelle Caron of Woonsocket, her nephews, Donald Lacasse and his wife Beth, of Jacksonville, FL, Peter Caron of Seattle, WA, Robert "Bob" Caron of Woonsocket; and her nieces, Jackie and Joann Vermette, of Martha's Vineyard, MA, Colleen Fontaine of North Haverhill, MA, Phyllis Boisvert of West End, NC, Lisa Payne of Old Monroe, MO, Anne Gibson of Great Barrington, MA, Judith Klopfenstein, of South Kingstown, Nancy Mccloskey of Fort Myers, FL, and Muriel Alden of Riverside. She is predeceased by her daughter, Karen Audette and her siblings Violet Boucher, Georgette Vermette, Robert Caron, Normand Caron, Roger Caron, Rita Polek, Estelle Lucchesi and Mariette Caron.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 310 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 2374 Post Rd. #103, Warwick, RI 02886.
