Phuang Saengsyri

Phuang Saengsyri 91, a longtime resident of Lowell, Massachusetts passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Toun Saengsyri. Phuang was born in Vientienne, Laos and immigrated to the United States in 1986.

Phuang was employed as an immigration officer in Laos.
   
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending Lao community events at various temples throughout New England.
   
He leaves two sons and five daughters, Jack Syri of Lowell, MA, Sitthachak Saengsyri of Waterloo, Ontario, Missy Mingboupha and her husband Khampheuy Mingboupha of Lowell, MA, Phet Phaxay and her her husband Kenny of Dallas, TX, Vanpheng Saengsyri of Worcester, MA, Pam Moreau and her husband Leo Moreau of Broad Brook, CT and Phounguen Saengsyri of Woonsocket, RI, and thirteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

His funeral will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 with a service at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by prayers in the Chapel of Hope and Memory in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Calling hours are Friday from 5-8 PM.
