Raymond Lefebvre Obituary

Raymond L. Lefebvre, 73, of North Smithfield, died February 4, 2021 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Linda (Goulet) Lefebvre.Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Leo and Lucille (Lemay) Lefebvre.

Mr. Lefebvre was a graduate of Woonsocket High School, then enlisted in the United States Army. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He earned his bachelors degree from Roger Williams University, pursued a career as an engineer, first for Crosby Valve, in Wrentham MA, then for Tyco International, in Houston, TX. He retired in 2013 and returned home to RI. He coached hockey for the Woonsocket North Stars, and Woonsocket High School varsity team.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Lefebvre and his wife Kara, of North Smithfield, and his grandsons, Logan and Landon Lefebvre; his daughter Lisa McNaughton and her husband Shane, of Providence, and his grandson Christian McNaughton and his granddaughter, Olivia Cassidy; as well as, his sister, Jeanne Kendra of Coventry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville and may be viewed live at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/42489742 All other services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
