Rena (Huguenin) Lefebvre

Rena (Huguenin) Lefebvre, 86, of North Smithfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 11/24/2023 at the Holiday Retirement Home. She was the wife of the late Albert Lefebvre, whom she was married to for 47 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Uldege and Eva (Glaude) Huguenin.

Rena was a faithful parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church. She was a food counter attendant in the cafeteria at Blackstone Valley Electric for 16 years and a lunch aide at Woonsocket High School for 12 years. Rena was also a member of the Lyons Club in Millville, with her husband, for many years. She loved to crochet, take “3 mile” walks and avidly attended bingo.

Rena is survived by four loving sons, Paul Lefebvre and his wife Kimberly of North Smithfield, Michael Lefebvre of Woonsocket, Wayne Lefebvre of North Smithfield and Scott Lefebvre and his wife Angela of Worcester, MA. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Corey, Megan, Kyle, Jesse, Timothy and Justin and two great-grandchildren. Also, her twin sister Rhea Clement, of Woonsocket, RI, her sister Vilolet Klegraefe, of Attleboro, MA, her sister Lucy Woodbury of Attleboro, MA, her brother, Paul Huguenin of Melbourne, FL, and she was predeceased by her sister Pauline Ristaino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Slatersville, RI where she attended mass regularly. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7 at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
