Richard O. Desmarais

Richard O. Desmarais, 68, of Woonsocket, passed away May 21st, 2020 at the Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Suzanne (Bernard) Desmarais. Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Philippe and Florence (Thiebeault) Desmarais.

Richard was a volunteer firefighter in Manville for many years and taught EMT classes at CCRI. He was an avid Yankees Fan.

He is survived by his companion of six years, Elaine Masterson, two nieces, Heather Bernard and Susan Kiddy, a nephew, Andrew Bernard, and his dog Sadie.

Calling hours for Richard will be Friday, July 10th, 2020 from Noon - 2 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. His funeral service will beat 2 PM, and may be viewed live athttps://client.tribucast.com/tcid/21223081

Social distancing guidelines will be followed upon your arrival. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
