Richard J. Fagnant

Richard J. Fagnant, 69, of Woonsocket, died July 15, 2021 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Patricia (Salvas) Fagnant whom he married July 17, 1976. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Miller) Fagnant.



Mr. Fagnant was the owner of Key Decorating Apparel in Woonsocket. Richard was very involved in Woonsocket politics and served on the City Council for two years. He enjoyed playing his guitar, hunting, and riding his motorcycle, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, and the family dog, Henry.



Along with his wife, Patricia, he is survived by two daughters, Allison Fagnant and her husband, Andrew Davis, of Woonsocket, and Kathleen Fagnant of Woonsocket; and two granddaughters, Makenzy and Kasey Davis. He was the brother of the late Marjorie Murphy.



Visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5-7pm in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. All other services will be private.
