Rita Annette Desjardins

Rita A. Desjardins, 76, of Woonsocket, died Sunday, March 15, 2020 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Anthony Desjardins. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Rene and Cordelia (Thibeault) Perreault.

Rita is survived by two daughters, Donna and Christine Desjardins, both of Woonsocket, and her grandson, Wayne Desjardins, Jr. of Douglas, MA. She was predeceased by her son, Wayne Desjardins, and her sister, Constance Dugas.

Her funeral will be held Friday, March 20, 2020, with a service at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Avenue, Woonsocket. Her family will receive guests beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinsons Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
