Robert E. "Bob" Gagnon, Jr.

Robert E. "Bob" Gagnon, Jr., 59, of Uxbridge, passed away July 8, 2024.  Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Carol (Zacchilli) Gagnon and the late Robert E. Gagnon, Sr. of North Smithfield.

Bob's life career was in carpentry with a specialty on historic homes. He also enjoyed woodworking and building furniture.  He spent time living in Colorado, where he worked in search and rescue in the mountains. Bob loved playing guitar, skiing, painting, Corvettes, and his red nosed pit bull, Hank. He was a former hockey player, entered in body building competitions and competed in Wyoming rodeos. 

Besides his mother, Carol, he is survived by his sister, Lisa Gagnon of North Smithfield; his nephew Travis Dumais of Lincoln; and his niece, Nicole Dumais of Burrillville.  

His funeral will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 beginning with visitation at 10AM, followed by a service at Noon in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Bob requested memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
