Robert G. Plasse, Sr.

Robert G. Plasse, Sr., 93, of North Smithfield, died November 3, 2024 with his family by his side in The Friendly Home. He was the husband of Gloria (Moon) Plasse to whom he would have been married to for 71 years on November 26th. Born in Woonsocket, RI he was the son of the late Eli R. and Anna L. (McGuire) Plasse.

Mr. Plasse was a 1949 graduate of Woonsocket High School. He served in the Naval reserve. Mr. Plasse worked for and owned Plasse Electric from 1948-2005. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, tinkering and boating, but above all, enjoyed spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, Gloria, he leaves their children, Robert G. Plasse, Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Woonsocket, Karen Kerrigan and her husband Shawn of Woonsocket, and Jane McSally of North Smithfield; eight grandchildren, Christian and Michael Plasse, Kyle, Katelyn, and Taylor Judy Kerrigan, Amanda, Matthew, and Andrew McSally; two great grandchildren, Peyton and Austin; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Judy Joyce; two brothers, John and Edward Plasse; his sister, Anne Bibeault; and his great grandson, Wyatt Plasse.

His funeral will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024, beginning with visitation at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone.
