Roger L. Dubois

Roger L. Dubois, 82, of North Smithfield, passed peacefully on April 24, 2026 with his loving family by his side in his home. He was the husband of the late Patricia E. (Lecuivre) Dubois, whom he married May 21, 1966. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Hector and Rita (St. Laurent) Dubois.

Roger was a member of the US Army National Guard for six years, and he worked as a machine operator for Dennison Manufacturing. He had a green thumb and loved being outside working in his garden. He enjoyed playing cards, beach trips, family time, road trips to New Hampshire and later in life visiting family in Florida with his wife. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he was always the first one to get down on the floor with them to play.

He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Bell of Waymart, PA, Mary Anne Deslauriers and her husband Ray, of Smithfield, and Monette Patrie and her husband Theo, of Oakland; his siblings, Laurie Empey of Rochester, NY and Noel Dubois of Woonsocket; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Robert, Raymond and Beatrice Dubois and Helene Coyne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Church,1409 Park Avenue, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
