Roger Patrice Obituary

Roger J. Patrice, 94, of Coventry, passed away March 16, 2026 in Stillwater Skilled Nursing, Smithfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine A. (Berard) Patrice to whom he was married 65 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late André and Alice (Lebrun) Patrice.

Mr. Patrice served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. Roger graduated from Woonsocket High School and Hill College. He worked as a Systems Analyst and Manager of the I.T. Department for Addressograph Farrington in Randolph, MA. He was a hobby and wedding photographer, and even had his own studio: Photos by Rogé. He loved camping and took his family on a trip across the United States. Roger enjoyed hiking, reading, and painting. He was a hard worker, who loved his family and was a generous philanthropist.

He leaves three daughters, Susan DeVaudreuil of North Smithfield, Cheryl Patrice and her husband, Douglas Dower of Lincoln, and Debra Price and her husband, Wade, of Coventry; two granddaughters, Amy DeVaudreuil and Julie DeVaudreuil; five great grandchildren, Ella, Zaida and Griffin Wenzel and Jasmine and Damon Tung-DeVaudreuil. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Lori DeVaudreuil and his son in law, Armand DeVaudreuil.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
