Roland A. Joyal Jr.

Roland A. Joyal, Jr., 62, of Blackstone, died February 2, 2021 in Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford, MA. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Roland A. Joyal, Sr. and Jeannette (Knapik) Joyal.

Roland was a 1976 graduate of Woonsocket High School. He worked as a self-employed mechanic, until he became disabled. Roland was a member of the Italian Workingmens Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and was an animal lover.

He leaves his significant other of 27 years, whom he called his girl, Erin K. Wood, of Blackstone, MA; two sons, Roland A. Joyal, III of Woonsocket and Adam Wood, of Blackstone, MA; his sister, Pamela Limoges and her husband, David, of Woonsocket, RI; and two grandchildren, Logan Joyal and Isaac Wood.

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11 AM in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Slatersville, under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
