Stephen A. Biron, 45, of Woonsocket, passed away June 29, 2025. He was the husband of Holly Belanger of Woonsocket. Born in Providence, he was the son of Steven N. and Rachel (Guillet) Biron of North Smithfield.
Stephen was the co-owner of New England Farms of RI in Burrillville with his father. He was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots, having held season tickets for both teams, and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. Steve had a passion for music and movies, and loved to play his guitar for family and friends.
Steve strived so hard to be the best at anything he set his mind to, but most important to him was his family, and he deeply loved being a father. He enjoyed time spent building Lego’s with his son, SJ, and taking day trips to visit different zoos and aquariums, with polar bears being his favorite animal to watch.
Along with his wife and parents, he is survived by his cherished son, Stephen "SJ" Biron Jr. at home; his step children, Alexis, Jasiah, and Devin Merrill all of Woonsocket; as well as, his bonus daughter, Mercedes Santiago of Woonsocket; and two grandchildren, Jackson and Laylah.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Calling hours Monday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Autism Speaks online at www.autismspeaks.org
