Steven P. Melzmuf

Steven P. Melzmuf, 47, of North Smithfield, died May 14, 2021 at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of Barbara (Demearse) Callas and the late John Melzmuf. He was the companion of the late Cheryl Stevens.

Steven worked as an owner/operator for SPM Transportation of North Smithfield. He was a great mechanic and especially loved his 1967 Plymouth Barracuda. Steven also enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and fishing. He leaves behind his beloved pitbulls, Bubba and Bruno.

Along with his mother, Barbara, he is survived by his sister, Kimberly Christo, and her husband John, of Lincoln; two nephews Tyler and Cameron Christo; and one niece, Lauren Christo. He was predeceased by his brother the late David J. Melzmuf.

His visitation will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5-7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. A committal service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10 AM in St. Patricks Cemetery, Pascoag Main St., Pascoag. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Friends of the North Smithfield Animal Shelter, PO Box 653, Slatersville, RI 02876.
