Timothy Dalton Obituary

Timothy Dalton, 46, of Walpole, died April 12, 2026 in Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington, MA. Surrounded by loved ones. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Michael Dalton, and the late Michelle (Bilodeau) Dalton. He is the grandson of William and Florence Dalton and Paul and Georgette Bilodeau.

Tim worked as a residential counselor for Vinfen Corporation, where he cared for disabled adults for many years. Tim was great at his job and most of the clients and staff grew to love him over the years. Furthermore, he is a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from American International College. As a teenager, Tim played a variety of sports and excelled in them. He loved to be outdoors, especially by the ocean. Tim loved to be a father figure and loved kids. He loved animals, particularly his cats. Tim cherished his family and many long standing friendships. He had an amazing sense of humor and had a unique ability to make people laugh. If not from any of his many stories his laugh alone could put a smile on your face. He was a gentle soul.

Besides his father, Michael, he leaves his brother Christopher and his wife Namita Dalton, along with their children Timothy and Titus of Laguna Niguel, CA. Tim was a caring and thoughtful uncle to both of them. His nephew Timothy was named after him. The other members of his family are his aunt and uncle, Kathy and Gene Sterett, his cousin Lee Ann LaCarbonara and her husband Marty. Tim also has his cousin Micheal Delmonico, son of Tim's late great aunt and uncle Rita and Sam Delmonico. Furthermore, Tim had fond memories of his late great aunt and uncle, Theresa and Paul Mandeville.

Tim leaves behind loving memories of his long term girlfriend Mari E. Flynn and her children Miguel C. Flynn, Maya J. Flynn, and Barry J. Flynn. Tim had a special bond with the children and has been a father to them. They loved him dearly.

Tim's close friends Jared Marchetti, Keegan and Josh Sellers, Eric Priestly, and Josh Zielinski were by his side throughout his life.

Tim will be missed dearly by all. This is a huge loss and he is gone too soon.

His funeral will be held Friday, April 24, 2026 beginning with visitation at 10 AM, followed by a service at Noon in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, RI.
