Vivian A. (Bouley) Barrette, 76, of Woonsocket, passed away April 8, 2026 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Raymond Barrette for fifty seven years. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Lumina (Desjardins) Bouley.
Vivian worked as a bank teller, having worked for the former Marquette Credit Union in Woonsocket and Bank of America up until her retirement. She loved the beach, whether it be soaking up the sun at local beaches, traveling to Cape Cod, or enjoying the warmth of Aruba. She also enjoyed lounging by the pool and eating seafood. Vivian liked to read and relax on the front porch. She also liked trips to the casino and going camping. Vivian could also be found enjoying a ride on the tandem bike with her husband.
Along with her husband Raymond, she is survived by their children, Steven Barrette, and his wife Kathleen of Sandwich, MA, and Cheryl Soucy of Woonsocket; her sister, Suzanne Allred, of Amarillo, TX; five grandchildren, Ethan, Nicholas, and Jeremy Soucy, and Ryan and Nina Barrette; three great grandchildren, Darryl, Kyle, and Lucas.
A visitation will be held Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 1-4PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St, Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
