Wanda T. (Romano) Lafleur

Wanda T. (Romano) Lafleur, 89, of North Smithfield, died December 29, 2023 in her home. Born in North Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Albina (Choiniere) Romano.

Wanda worked for AT Cross, and had previously worked as a silk screener. She loved nature, and spending time outdoors, especially working in the garden and bird watching. Wanda also enjoyed visiting her son, Mark, in Arizona, and their trips to Las Vegas.

She leaves her sons, Stanley Lafleur and his wife, Sue, with whom she lived, and Mark Lafleur and his wife, Barbara of Buckeye, AZ; her former husband, Lionel Lafleur; two sisters, Mary Kane of Cumberland and Shirley Laverdiere of North Smithfield; six grandchildren, Keri Lafleur of CA, Geena, and Kiana Lafleur and Brian Johnson, all of Arizona, Sandra Eades of TX, and Jennifer Patel of FL; six great grandchildren, Makai Lafleur, Kaylee Mayorga, Logan and Cayden Eades, Kayleigh Picard, and Tymothy Crane; two great great grandchildren, Daxton and Lenox Mims; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Duquette.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
