Wendy L. (Morse) Comire

Wendy L. (Morse) Comire, 73, of Greenville, died at home surrounded by her family on July 30, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late John C. Comire, whom she spent 44 wonderful years married to before his passing. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (Hennessey) Morse.

Although retired, Wendy spent much of her career in retail management. Many of those years were at Dress Barn and Levi Strauss & Co. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, biking with her husband, bowling, and family game nights.

Wendy leaves her daughters, Janet Comire of Greenville and Melissa Comire of Abbeville, SC; three brothers, Scott, Tracey, and Bradley Morse; her sister, Debby-Sue Grant; four grandchildren, Jake Comire, Samuel Saulsby, III, John Ryan and Christopher Saad; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Court Morse and two sisters, Tammy Morse and Patricia Griffin.

Her visitation will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5pm – 7pm, in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Horse Play Equine Rescue and Sanctuary, PO Box 305, Saunderstown, RI 02874.
