Clarisse “Babe” A. Laverdiere, 84, of Lincoln, died October 4, 2018 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Arthemise (Duhamel) Cote.
Clarisse enjoyed spending time with her family, making crafts and traveling to her home in Florida during the winter time.She worked as a supervisor for Mark Steven CVS for 28 years.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Laverdiere and his wife Sandra of Lincoln; David Laverdiere and his wife Christine of Woonsocket; a daughter, Lise Martin and her husband Vincent of North Smithfield; seven grandchildren, Jake and Abby Laverdiere, Justin Laverdiere and his wife Kristin, Kerryn Laverdiere and her companion Karl Jarry, Melissa Jockell and her husband Daniel, Heather Provencal and her husband Eric and Steven Nadeau and his partner Stephen Indich, six great-grandchildren, London, Zoey, Payton, James, Jackson and KJ, and a sister, Constance McClure of Greenville. Clarisse was preceded in death by her husband, Normand Laverdiere and companion, Albert Charpentier, brother, Charles Cote, and three sisters, Rita Cournoyer, Claire Baillargeon and Theresa Rogers.
Her funeral will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 beginning with visitation at 2 PM followed by a service at 5 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.
